BFS Companies began in 1974 as an agricultural business when Marshall Bishop purchased a Southern States store in Bruceton Mills, WV. The agricultural aspect of our business has had steady growth with four Southern States stores and 18 petroleum plants across four states. In the early 1980s, the very first BFS Foods Convenience store was opened in Mount Lake Park, MD. Since then, we have been a rapidly growing family-owned convenience store chain, with 63 locations, throughout WV, PA, MD, and OH, and 8 liquor stores in WV. BFS also operates multiple fast food brands including Burger King, Little Caesars Pizza, Subway, Dairy Queen, Huddle House, IHOP, and Tim Horton's Café & Bake Shop. Our 8 Liquor Store locations are:
