What does Shop Small mean to you?

For me, it’s that personal touch of knowing someone crafted or selected something they knew others would love too. It’s seeing the artist behind the art. And?

It’s the DETAILS in all of it! All the way down to packaging.

When was the last time you ordered a gift from BIG BOX STORE and it arrived packed in glittery tissue paper, canvas (reusable) drawstring bags and snowflake tag ornaments?

Hashtag NEVER.

As a small business that specializes in design and gifts, packaging is important to me. At our recent market, a fellow vendor stopped me in my apron to say “Hey! Pretty BOLD, what do you sell?! I’ve seen everyone carrying your bags today!” That’s because everything that left my booth did so in a Pretty BOLD paper bag, stamped with our logo and wrapped up with love!

I spend a little extra on the backend to make your orders something worth smiling about. When you buy a gift for someone else, I want to save you the time and effort of wrapping. I also offer direct to recipient gift shipping; I’ll include your personal note with my packaging and send the items right to your loved one.

While the packing will vary and usually won’t be the same twice, the love and care that goes into each item is evident from the moment you open that mailer.

Christmas Lights 2.0 are ready to go; perfect for wearing or gifting! A few styles are available, including singles in 6 color ways, Triples in Traditional (red/green/gold) or Elsa (purple/blue/ice clear) or as a surprise reveal - NECKLACES!

With my switch over to these gorgeous faceted glass beads for the 2.0 launch, I wanted to keep the earring weights comfortable and also offer a long length necklace highlighting all six colors in a cluster style pendant.

Hi everyone!

It's been a bit quiet here at Pretty BOLD, so I thought I would drop in and say hello! As most of you know, I'm a small business owner AND the mother of two feisty little girls. In the past two weeks since our successful appearance at the MGHS Winter Bazaar, we have celebrated both of their birthdays - my youngest turning seven and then my oldest hitting the big T E N! Between these events, we also had a pretty major issue with water damage in our home that has taken a lot of time and mental energy. I'm tired but still pushing through!

Heading into Small Business Saturday, I want to mention that we will be releasing some pretty adorable earrings for the holiday season! Last year, we sold out TWICE with our Christmas Lights earrings - and guess what?! They are BACK and BETTER THAN EVER! In addition to the Christmas Lights 2.0, I will have a few more earring styles; both beaded and polymer clay. I might even drop a few other surprises for you all!

Stay tuned for the drop this Saturday! We will be releasing a pre-order here with a guarantee to ship out all items by December 1!
