After the flooding losses at Black Penny Farms, I’m still working through inventory to see which dahlia tubers I’ll be able to offer this season. Thank you for your patience and support. ❤️

In the meantime, unrooted dahlia cuttings are available in two-packs from some of my bloom-proven varieties. Most are Australian cultivars.

Head to the website to see what’s still available for shipping today.

Orders ship overnight to the contiguous U.S. for a flat $35 shipping fee.

Please check the weather where you live before ordering and make sure you’re prepared to root unrooted cuttings. I can’t offer replacements for cuttings that fail to root or for losses caused by weather at the destination.

I’m grateful you’re standing by our farm through this season. I can’t wait to grow with you. 🌸

This is a video I didn’t want to make.

Central Ohio received 8.8 inches of rain in August—and it rained 20 out of 31 days. After planting more than 4,000 dahlias, I’m facing the possibility of having far fewer tubers available this year than I ever expected.

I’m trying hard to focus on what’s still going right. The dahlias that survived are blooming beautifully, and the zinnias I planted on a whim are thriving—and honestly, saving my sanity right now.

We still have about six weeks until digging begins, so I’m not counting the season out just yet. Farming requires equal parts hope, heartbreak, and the willingness to keep growing. This year has certainly brought all three. 💜

I will no longer be correcting my phone when it changes zinnia to zenia or Xenia. I’ve fought this battle long enough.

At this point, whatever the Apple gods decide is fine. 🌸

You all know what I mean. 😂

For a few weeks this summer, this is what the fields look like.

Bright faces turned toward the sun, waiting to come home with someone.

If you’ve been thinking about treating yourself to a bouquet, this is your sign. 🌻

Big news, flower friends 🌸

Danlye of Vynehill has passed along something really special—a cutting of Coorabell Amy, bloom-confirmed and ready for its next chapter.

And we couldn’t just keep that to ourselves…

One lucky attendee at the in-person sale this Saturday with is going home with her. We’re putting this beauty up for raffle, and yes—it’s as good as you’re imagining. 🦄

Saturday just got a little louder, a little brighter, and a whole lot more exciting.

Are you ready to win your future favorite bloom? Gah! I’m so excited someone gets to win her!!!

The final restock is live.

This is the last of the season—the last cuts, the last divisions, the last little pieces of the field we get to send out this year.

We’ll begin packing on Monday, with shipping starting the Monday after Easter.

If something’s been sitting in your cart (or your head)… I wouldn’t wait on it.

I can’t wait to grow with you.
