🏈 Tennessee Football, Baby Back Ribs & a Vols Win! 🍖🍊

That’s a pretty darn good Saturday in East Tennessee.

We started these baby back ribs with a layer of honey seasoning, then hit them with our Gun Slinger All Purpose Seasoning. That combination delivered exactly what we were looking for—beautiful color, a little sweetness, and plenty of savory BBQ flavor.

The Gun Slinger really showed off on these ribs. 🔥 Great bark, an awesome smoke ring, and these racks were super meaty, tender and packed with flavor.

They came off the smoker just in time to settle in and watch our Tennessee Vols bring home the win. 🍊🏈

🔥 BLOODY MARY WINGS — This idea hit us immediately! 🍗🍅

After sampling Game On Spirits Wing Shot Buffalo Wing Vodka, we knew exactly where we wanted to take it.

We’re big fans of a good Bloody Mary, so why not take those flavors straight to the grill?

We mixed Wing Shot Buffalo Wing Vodka with our favorite Bloody Mary mix to create a bold wing marinade. After soaking up all that flavor, the wings got a good coating of our own Lawman Gun Slinger All Purpose Seasoning and hit the grill.

🥩 TRI-TIP DONE RIGHT! 🔥

We recently rediscovered an old favorite from back when we had our BBQ retail shop — Wh**ky Bent BBQ “The Rocks.”

We used to keep this seasoning around for a reason. Great flavor, great bark, and it absolutely ROCKED this tri-tip. 🤘🔥

Cooked to a beautiful medium rare, rested, then sliced across the grain. That seasoning paired with the rich beef flavor of the tri-tip made every slice hit just right.

Sometimes you try a lot of new BBQ rubs and seasonings, only to circle back to an old favorite and remember exactly why you liked it in the first place.

🥃 CW Spirits Bottle Rundown — Which One Came Out on Top?

We went back through four bottles from CW Spirits that we’ve tried recently and gave our take on how they tasted, what stood out, and where they ranked for us.

The lineup:

🥃 Swole Tequila — good tasting tequila and definitely a quality bottle. Tequila just isn’t our personal go-to, but we’ve had guests try it and they really enjoy it. Sometimes it comes down to personal preference!

🥤 Soda Jerk Root B**r — this one has been a favorite. That old-school root b**r flavor makes it easy to enjoy and fun to mix.

🍊 Soda Jerk Orange Cream — another interesting bottle with that orange-and-cream flavor. We’ve experimented with a few different ways to serve this one.

🍸 Dented Brick Vodka — a clean, smooth vodka that surprised us and works well straight or mixed into your favorite cocktail.
