I just wanted to take a second to say thank you all for your business and explain kind of how we do things. I charge $30 per reel to clean or tune it. The difference in a tuned reel is you pay for the bearings on top of the $30. If you buy a reel from Mckee Outdoors I’ll tune the reel for $20 and also take a little off of each bearing. We want your business, so please don’t hesitate to call the shop and talk to Matt Mckee, Randy McKee, or ask to speak with me. When I started tuning reels it was my goal to provide my customers with the best performing reels possible. Price was never really a concern, I wanted the best. I would rather spend the extra on the best grease, oil, and bearings on the market. After much thought, research, and testing through side by side comparisons I have decided to partner with Spool Hi-Speed Bearings and Scott Beaulieu to provide my customers with the best reels and best performance possible. Everyone coming to the East Tennessee Fishing Show be sure to stop by the McKee Outdoors booth and say hi. Matt has really outdone himself this year. Hey everyone I’m back at the shop today. Feel like I’m about 80%, but I’m in here trying to chip away at these reels. I appreciate everyone’s patience while I was sick, you all have been great. I’ll be calling or messaging those of you who have dropped off reels for me to do as I get them done. Once again I really appreciate your understanding while I was out sick.

I want to thank everyone for the business, I try to make it a point to provide excellent service with a short turnaround time. I am truly covered up right now and with the show coming up I know it’s only going to get busier. With that being said I’m going to ask that you hold off on bringing any more reels until the East Tennessee Fishing Show. However if you would like me to schedule you in a timeframe to bring them by we can do that as well. This will give me time to finish everything I have now and get everything returned to the customers they belong to. I’m thankful for your business, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the show.

Hey everyone I wanted to make a post and let everyone know I’ll be taking in reels until the end of the day January 7th. That will give me time to get any reels I get between now and then back to you all and will allow me to go into the Knoxville fishing show without a waiting list.
