Found this tonight… a little square of the carpet that we put in the small store. I kept a small piece from the scraps for keepsake!! Makes me so happy and so sad all at the same time. I miss you all so much!! ❤️ I miss what felt like a sense of purpose. I miss the friendships formed. I don’t miss weeks of working 80-100 hours… but, I do miss all that I stood for and tried to do!!

I always believed that the energy you put out into the world will eventually come back to you. I definitely learned today how true that is!! Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart!! I don’t care if you’re family or friends… you all touched my heart!! Whether it was a phone call, the use of a vehicle, food or any other means… it didn’t go unnoticed!! Friends…

First and foremost, i hope this finds you all well!!

A few have already helped. We have a family in need in the Lansing area. They are in need of a queen size bed (if possible), a living room chair or loveseat of some kind. They could also use a little bit of help with food. More or less, they are still in need of some more meat (excluding venison and fish), essentials such as eggs, milk, condiments, butter, etc.(and possibly some fruit, vegetables as well as maybe some snacks.

They have been offered a futon but have no way to transport it. This is a family of 2 adults and a young child. Please reach out to me if you are able to help!! Thank you in advance.

The end of an era… a little piece of my heart left my body today!! So bittersweet!! I am eternally grateful to all of you who made it so hard to close my doors!! I am beyond blessed to have had something so amazing that it hurts so much to say goodbye!! Each one of you played a huge role in that. Thank you!! I love you all!!

Hello friends and family,

I am getting many messages and questions. Many of you are aware that I did, indeed, close the doors permanently of the physical location of the store. I did not, have not and will not sell Nana’s Treasure Attic as a company. I sold the remaining contents and fixtures to Kim Paradise. Kim intends to continue doing what I was doing on a little smaller scale. I could not keep up physically, mentally and financially. The overhead cost was overwhelming and I need to be able to take care of my health and be more present for my family and friends!!

This decision was absolutely devastating to have to make. Please know that. I trust Kim to continue on with her own version of what I began.

I love and miss all of you so much!! It has without question been the absolute hardest decision I have had to make in most of my adult life. Missing all of you has been the hardest part for me!! It’s been a very long 10 days in my world without all of you.

I am selling things currently online on marketplace, though not the same items and definitely not for $1.00. I intend to find my way back to helping the community again and offering time and any help I can. I just have to find my way back to that place on all levels. It will take a little while for me to find my way back on to a level playing field. It’s going to take me a little while to crawl back out of the hole I’m in, but, I will. I promise myself, and I promise all of you!!

You all mean the absolute world to me and I miss you all so much!! ❤️
