Ahh Sunday mornings ❤️

Nothing like cooking up a batch of zucchini muffins, sipping on pumpkin flavored coffee, and whipping up a batch of air dry clay in the microwave, just like grandma used to do.

I fully support wearing whatever clothing you want that gives you confidence…

BUT Tthis is like when our jeans would get wet on the bottom in the winter when we walked through snow, but a million times worse! When they’re not wicking moisture up to your butt, the strings would be unraveling like crazy. And are they really secured onto the denim?! My kids would step on them once (because they walk so close behind me and I’m always tripping over them anyway) and WHOOSH there goes the neon orange string!

But $20 does seem like a deal for how much work went into their construction…

First of all, I’d like to thank my fans who have supported me all along the way. I never expected to get an Emergent Talent award (badge, same difference) from Meta, but here we are! I’ll continue to work hard, screw up a ton, and if I’m lucky, my earnings will be in the double digits. 🧑🏻‍🩰🏆

This morning’s hyper fixation included sewing a quilted zipper boxy bag! I don’t have the greatest relationship with Math, and every Reel and TikTok I’ve watched make it look sooo easy and I know deep down it is but then I overthink and my intrusively negative Math thoughts overwhelm my brain and when paired with my refusal to buy a pattern, they’ve just never turned out well!

The fabric is from a thrifted comforter 😍 & I used French seams for the boxed out corners. Next time, I’m going to try foam instead of batting to give it more structure. Unfortunately, when I make them available for purchase, they’ll cost around $300 because it took me 3.5 HOURS TO MAKE. I gotta trim down that time a bit 😂 And also fix all of the mistakes I made.

Now to figure out what to do next:
✨ Assemble the polymer clay earrings I made
✨ Show you the puffy letter keychains I made
✨ Or maybe the resin earrings I’ve also made?
✨ Add it all to my website so things might actually sell
✨ Embroider spirit wear shirts?
✨ Make embroidered bag tags and patches and hats?
🤮 Do more laundry
🤮 Keep organizing and purging crap from our house
✨ Have a cup of coffee & read a book?
🤮 Wash the couch cushions
✨ Lay on the couch & challenge myself to find a craft I’ve not yet tried
✨ Write a book
🤮 Errands

I’d like to invite you to this perimenopause episode entitled: “Why Am I Never Tired When I’m Supposed To Be.”

I’ve been in bed for awhile now, watching TikToks (yeah yeah blue light, whatever the hormone is that makes you tired, blahhhhhhh) and of course I was like “ooh, I should post about this!” So, I wondered what the pic would look like if I did a selfie in the dark - like would you see the reflection of my glasses, etc. Well, SURPRISE the flash was on and this is what followed. This is my actual facial expression to a surprise light at midnight 😂 And now I can’t sleep because I keep chuckling at my stupid face lol.

If you have secondhand embarrassment for me, good. That’s the feeling I wanted to invoke.

As an entertainer, this is just part of our daily life. I’ve already made $5 from my fb content this month, so clearly my strategy is working.
