Cube Con is coming back to Mavericks this July! Early Bird Tickets are available currently for $15, but after that admission for the event will be $20 so make sure to get your tickets today! We're really looking forward to hosting this awesome event again and seeing everyone out for a fun day of cube!

We have two competitive MTG events these next couple weekends! This Saturday, May 30th we have our Standard Store Championship, and next Sunday, June 7th we have our Modern RCQ! We hope to see you all there, more details for each event are below:

Standard Store Championship:
Saturday, May 30th
Starts at 1:00pm
$15 Entry Fee
Swiss rounds with cut to Top 8
Promos: Unearth (participation), Psychic Frog (Top 8), Textless Abhorrent Oculus (winner)
Decklists are NOT required

Modern RCQ:
Sunday, June 7th
Starts at Noon (doors open at 11am)
$20 Entry Fee
Decklists are required (paper decklists will be available)

This week we're starting a run of special drafts with Magic Presents: Open the Archive! This Secrets of Strixhaven draft format channels the chaotic magic of its home plane of Arcavios, as you take the Mystical Archive card in addition to your first pick of each pack, and you can use mana of any color to cast Mystical Archives! The winner of each draft gets a blind box collectible coin, while supplies last. Entry is $25 per draft. These will be run on-demand on Friday nights (5PM-8:15PM) from 5/22-6/12!

GREETINGS TAMERS! This weekend in place of our regular weekly on Saturday 5/16 at 2pm we will celebrate the release of the latest Booster Release: BT-25 DUAL REVOLUTION! Tamers new and old are invited to our Release Event for a sealed deck experience. For those looking for a more basic introduction to the game, we will also have a series of WELCOME TAMERS events at 2pm Saturday 5/16 and Saturday 5/23, where participants battle it out with the latest starter decks! Attention Pokemon players! Get ready for some chaos with our official chaos rising prerelease. The event starts on Friday, May 15th at 7pm. Each player gets a prerelease kit that includes a randomised deck with a special promo and 4 CR packs! Signs up are availible in store NOW for $30 and day of for $35. 70 slots available!

SUMMONERS! Be ready to smite the Baron over and over during UNLEASHED PRE-RIFT WEEK, starting this Friday at 6PM! We will be running uncapped events on Friday at 6pm, Saturday at 12pm and 6pm, and Tuesday at 6pm. Event entry is $35 and includes your Pre-Rift kit containing 5 UNLEASHED packs and a mini deck. You'll use that kit to build a deck and compete with other players for booster pack prizing! UNLEASHED releases the following Friday, 5/8, so this is your first chance to get your hands on the new set! We'll see you there (unless you're hiding in the brush).

Welcome to the jungle! UNLEASHED is just over the horizon, so we're excited to announce our updated Pre-Rift schedule! Each player will receive a kit containing 5 packs of Unleashed and a preconstructed mini-deck with which to build a Sealed deck. Players then battle it out in rounds of best-of-1 Swiss to determine the true ruler of the jungle. Don't forget to press Smite!

Entry is $35 per event, with FOUR events in total--Friday 5/1 at 6pm, Saturday 5/2 at 12pm and 6pm, and Tuesday 5/5 at 6pm. Sign ups will be available in-store on the day of each event.
