Happy Friday! We want to say this from the bottom of our hearts: thank you!! 🤩🤩🩷🩷

Hearth & Home would not be growing, rebuilding and finding its place in a new community without the incredible people who continue to show up for us. Every order, kind word, recommendation, share and piece of encouragement means more than you know. 🤎

This week, we had the chance to see some of our Stark County friends and it meant so much to us. Even though we moved an hour and a half away, your love and support came right along with us. We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who continues cheering on our family and our little candle business from afar.

At the same time, Knox County has welcomed us home so warmly. Being back in the community where I grew up feels incredibly special, and we are so grateful for the amazing welcome we’ve received here.

And now, we have something especially meaningful coming…

☀️ Our “Brighter Mornings Are Coming” fundraiser begins September 25! This Dolly-inspired candle will honor her beautiful legacy of giving back by raising money for Interchurch of Knox County. We can’t wait to share all the details with you next week.

In the meantime, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Bourbon & Butterscotch are officially back in stock! 🍁 If you’ve been waiting for either one, send us a message or visit the website to order.

Thank you for continuing to bring light and send hope alongside us, whether you’re near or far. Your love carries with us wherever we go. 🕯️🤎

Hearth & Home by Crookston Candles is open, and the website is filled with cozy fall scents and meaningful gifts made to bring a little light into your home.

And on 9/25, our Brighter Mornings Are Coming fundraiser begins, with $11 from every candle sold donated to Interchurch of Knox County. 🩷

Happy Monday! We’re open! 🤍

Hearth & Home by Crookston Candles is officially back, and I’m so grateful for the love you’ve shown since Knox Pages shared our story.

This new season is about more than reopening a business. It’s about bringing light, sending hope and finding meaningful ways to give back to the community that welcomed my girls and me home.

That’s why our first special campaign will support Interchurch of Knox County.

From September 25 through October 5, $11 from every Dolly-inspired candle sold will be donated to Interchurch to help care for our neighbors right here in Knox County.

The candle is already out of the bag, but I’ll be sharing more about the scent, the meaning behind it and the work Interchurch does over the next couple of weeks. 🩷

We’re open, we’re grateful and we’re just getting started.

Stop by crookstoncandles.com and check it out 🤩🤩🎉🎉

Twenty-five years ago, I was sitting in art class when we watched the unimaginable unfold on television.

I still remember the fear, disbelief, and confusion, the feeling that the world had changed in a matter of moments. It’s hard to believe an entire generation has now grown up knowing September 11 only through stories, photographs, and history lessons.

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage in the darkest of moments.

May we never forget, not only what happened that day, but also how we came together in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Did anybody else work on Labor Day? 🙋‍♀️

I spent the morning stocking up on packaging for our Encouragement Gift Boxes and gathering your ideas for nostalgic Christmas scents. Then I got to spend the afternoon eating good food, talking about music and enjoying time with good friends. Anchored by the Sword Podcast, Freedom Stories with Gina Fox 🤎

Today, we’re restocking Bourbon & Butterscotch, Caramel Maple Espresso, and Pumpkin Spice Latte and testing a few Christmas scents! 🎄🕯️
