Hi I am Karen of a RattaCool Dream! Meaning of the name:
Ratta (maiden name)
Cool (I married Mr. Cool)
Dream ( I'm a dreamer)

When my oldest child (of 3) joined the Corps in 2011, I was in full MOM (mother of a Marine) mode. I wanted to support in every way possible. SO, I created an image that represented the challenges of the Marine Corps basic training program and specifically the final boot-camp challenge where Recruits transform into Marines. This challenge is the CRUCIBLE. I applied the image to an LED candle and lit it for the 54 hours of the challenge. Other MOM's asked if I could create one for them. Now 10 years later I have created over 10,000 candles! I offer candles for all branches of the Military and custom candles for any occasion. Recently I have discovered casting stone-using forms to create statues, planters, and other decor from concrete. When I'm not working on Candles or cement, I can be found picking vintage at yard sales, Goodwill, and flea markets. Or hanging with my family & my Old English Sheepdog Murphy.
