What an honor & pleasure it was to present at a bridal shower for the daughter of one of our best customers today. Our oils & vinegars were featured in each of the brunch menu selections, from salads to main course items, as well as the desserts! I was thrilled to be able to speak to a packed room of guests while they dined and learned about the culinary uses, health benefits, harvest, and production of extra virgin olive oil. A recent study published by researchers at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain followed adults over two years. Those who regularly consumed extra virgin olive oil showed better cognitive performance and a more diverse gut microbiome than those using refined oil.

As lead researcher Jordi Salas-Salvadó puts it, extra virgin doesn't only protect the heart - it may also help preserve the brain as we age.
