Whoever can guess the weight of this Domingo tomato will receive a free pack of seeds!
I will give it 24 hours from this post at 5:00. Saturday 7-11-26. The winner will be calculated Sunday 7-12-26 at 5:00 pm first person to guess correctly gets the prize.

Domingo is throwing off some whoppers this year! I had to put some support under this one to make sure the vine doesn't break.
I apologize for not keeping up with posts on how things are going here on the farm,, it has been a very busy year and I do the tomato business on top of working a full time job and raising sheep on our 111 acre farm. Things are really starting to take off now and the next few weeks we will be swamped with tomatoes and me doing my seed collecting, it's a busy life, but it brings so many rewards!
I hope everyone is having a good year this year, each year brings its own challenges and we learn something new each season.

Bliss Family Heirloom Tomatoes will be set up at the shelter house at Wesley Chapel Community Church. The address is 8211 Wesley Chapel Rd. Mauckport,IN 47142
We have many varieties of very hard to find heirloom and open pollinated tomatoes. We've put a lot of work into finding these very unique and tasty tomatoes and it is a great joy to us to get them into your hand. Many people had no idea there were so many different types of tomatoes and it is my mission to open you up to a whole new world of tastes you never knew existed!
30% of all the profits goes into the church community fund to help out those in need.

If you are coming to the tomato plant sale Saturday, bring paper towels and something to put bare root plants in, I am running out of pots and I don't intend to purchase anymore this year (I bought 2000 of them) I will most likely have bare root seedlings that will transplant easily I will be giving away with each purchase of potted plants! Just plant them about 3/4 deep and they will do just fine!

Bliss Family Heirloom Tomatoes will be having our first sale of the year Saturday, April 18th at Wesley Chapel Community Church from 8:00 - 1:00. We will be featuring the Indiana Red variety, Slankards and my personal favorite the Amish Gold Slicer! I really wanted to wait another week to get a little more growth on them, but this weather has everyone anxious to get their plants, so I decided to go ahead with a sale. Not all the varieties we have will be available as I am still uppotting and hope to finish this week. I generally like for the seedlings to grow in their pots for two weeks after that. We will continue having sales every weekend for awhile so if you don't find what you want come back to the next one and watch my page and the Wesley Chapel Community Church page for possible Friday evening sales.

Jesus gave me a helping hand up when I was at my lowest point in my life, it is my greatest privilege to help others when they are in need.
All plants are 2.00 for a 4" pot , I personally don't recommend setting them out until May, but I think I will plant some early myself this year.

This planting was done March 3 and they are already popping their heads up, fresh seed makes a big difference and we are committed to only selling seeds from the previous years harvest only so you have seed that is typically viable for up to 10 years or more when you get it! We grow more than tomatoes on the farm, one of my sheep ewes spit out a set of twins this weekend! God's so good to us!

The seed I sell is very fresh and that makes for better germination rates. Typically a tomato seed is viable for 10 years or better, but I have known some people who have had good success with seeds even older than that.
