A lot of people have asked me why I changed the name from North Vermilion Fireworks to Uncle Joe’s Fireworks.

When I first started selling fireworks, I didn’t know much about business or branding. I saw there wasn’t a fireworks stand in the Maurice area, so I named it after the community because I wanted to do something for the area.

As I learned and grew, I realized I wanted the business to represent more than a location. I wanted it to represent me, while also making sure I’m representing my family, my friends, and this community the right way. That’s where Uncle Joe’s Fireworks came from.

I’ve learned that growth requires change, and I’m never afraid to make changes if it helps me build something better. I’ll keep learning, improving, and giving this business everything I’ve got.

Thank y’all for believing in me and supporting Uncle Joe’s Fireworks. I’m proud to put my name on it, and I can’t wait to see y’all again for the Christmas and New Year’s season! ❤️🎄🎆.

When I opened Uncle Joe’s Fireworks in 2022, I dedicated it to the memory of Angela Villien, Chase Broussard, my daddy Joseph Allen, my cousin Whitney Allen, my Aunt Debbie Green, and my little brother Jacoby Lee.

Since then, every year, I’ve given a firework to one of their family members to light in remembrance of their loved one. It’s a tradition that’s very close to my heart.

This year, I want to share that tradition with someone else.

I’m giving away one of my most expensive fireworks—a 2-minute show—to someone who wants to honor a loved one they miss.
