Knowledge is one thing that can't be taken away from you, in a world that takes so much. Our ancestors used to teach their young with stories passed down around a camp fire. Stories that instilled a sound moral compass and strength that molded generations. Rockstar had the privilege of tattooing our oldest son for his birthday today and he chose something special to them both. Mjölnir, the sacred hammer of the Norse thunder god, Thor. A symbol of strength, protection, and blessings.

Memorial pieces are always a privilege to work on. Sometimes a little stressful, maybe a little emotional, but always special.
