This material is moss agate, specifically cut and polished into a cabochon (a gemstone that has been shaped and polished rather than faceted).Moss agate is a semi-precious variety of chalcedony (a mineral in the quartz family). The intricate, branch-like patterns inside the translucent stone are not fossilized plants; rather, they are mineral inclusions of iron oxide or manganese that look like moss, trees, or a miniature garden landscape. This particular pattern and combination of white lace, green moss, and brown plumes is highly characteristic of new Ternate moss agate mined in Indonesia.
This is my pick especially for me personally. I just wanted to share.
