~Miscommunication~

Trying to understand the conversation,
between my head and my heart.
But they are speaking a foreign language,
and I've no idea where to start.

I've lost the language of my self,
or maybe I'm just broken.
Unable to turn my own truths,
into sentiment to be spoken.

Words seem to fail me,
as they bombard me from within.
Leaving me crippled to express them,
lost inside this overwhelming din.

Keeping myself hidden,
from inspiration and from desire.
I suddenly realize I've been a coward,
afraid of my own fire.

I need to find my center again,
and remember why I am me.
Then become once more,
the woman I loved to be.

It burns me up when I try to support other small crafters and businesses. Only to have to abandon my online order with them when I find out that they want to charge JUST as much or more than my order total for shipping. Shipping USPS, no less. I too use USPS to ship to my customers, so I KNOW it does not cost that much to ship with their "If it fits, it ships." boxes. I am willing to pay a little more for an item because it is hand crafted and made with care. But digging people's pockets over shipping is just wrong. Show some loyalty and appreciation to your customers and don't stick it to them when they are trying to support you. Ok I'll get off my soap box now. I just had to express my view on this subject.
