‼️ripping out mohair doesn’t have to feel scary! the right techniques can change how stressful this feels. these are some of my favorite knitting tips!! save this for later so you can come back to it!
•hold the yarn you’re ripping out parallel to your project to avoid added tension
•don’t keep pulling if you feel a tangle forming, it’ll just make it worse! pick it apart quickly and keep going~ you’ll be glad you did.
•the freezer~ it helps!!

this process is always fiddly and can be frustrating but you can do anything you set your mind to! i believe in you :)

~when the colorway makes a beautifully balanced fabric 😌

i have been a test knitter for five years or so now~ a knitter for ten~and i’m in a big transition into my own designs. and oh my goodness it is hard. i am learning lots and my brain hurts lots…also on me for choosing a complicated stitch pattern with a set in sleeve/contiguous construction for my first pattern. have designed many garments in school~ have never written a knitting pattern. anywho, when i’m between checking grading again and again~ i’m finishing up loose ends on existing projects. and i’m just in awe of these fabrics. all yarn looks pretty as a skein. it doesn’t all knit up well. i put a lot of effort behind the scenes in designing colorways that are beautiful and energetic in such a wonderful way, but that also make a beautiful fabric first and foremost. i’m just so proud of these. i have about ten wips that are just…half a sleeve. or a buttonband…or just buttons…very quick finishings. i am really happy to be spending time with them. i’m wishing you a beautiful thursday. keep shining your beautiful light! ✨

🌸secret garden season 3 is closing tonight!! 🩵

‼️ this technique is SO simple and will help you out whenever you’re knitting stripes!! do you already do this? once you weave in your ends you can’t tell where you changed colors! what other tips/tricks do you want to see?? 🥰

my friend was so kind and sent me tutorials by and quite literally saved the situation! i’ve never had to mend like this before~ and i think it went well…what do you think? can you tell?? 🌈🤞

some projects are just *the happiest* ever 🌈

out soon by Cheryl Mokhtari which is just so perfectly complimented by my butterfly season fade with an undyed natural cream contrast stripe! i’m using cashmere sock and classic mohair held together. 🦋🫶🏻🌈

there’s one more in stock fluff set in the shop! i added a few more of the butterfly season fades yesterday, there’s only one of each base! and just one more fluff left which is needed to make gauge for either of these projects, if you wanted to make one too! once i finish mine, if there’s enough interest i may bring this fade back a small preorder! 🦋

reorganize the stu day…lose my sh*t day 😝

maybe you feel me? lol
i literally left for vacation four hours after finishing the biggest collection *ever* (thank you!) and cleaned nothing- and then every single appliance in my house broke and they had to cut holes *everywhere*. anywho, it’s a mess. we don’t like it that way 😝

i missed the studio while i was gone. if you know me, you know i pretty much live here now 😅 it’s good to love your job. is there a too much??

new photo equipment to be installed. inventory for everything. work on an in stock update that will be a fundraiser to benefit a dear friend of 15 years who’s been failed by those supposed to protect her and her kids. all 5 kids home and fingers crossed baby naps well. cheers to the overhaul! 💜
