The nursery is FULL right now. Our mums are grown, raised and hardened off right here in Oklahoma, and they’re looking GOOD. Lots of tight, closed buds with very little color showing, which is exactly what you want if you want them to last.
We have specialty tricolor mums like Hobgoblin, Spellbound and Candy Corn, giant OU and OSU bicolor mums, and tons of solid colors in three different sizes.
Quick mum tip: keep them watered! Mums have a fine root system and like their soil to stay moist. They can stay in the nursery pot, but moving them into a slightly larger pot will help hold moisture so you aren’t watering quite as often. Or plant them in the landscape and enjoy them year after year.
We’re also stocking back up on the plants that took a beating during the summer heat. Evergreens, hydrangeas, azaleas, flowering perennials and more. We’ll have one of our biggest selections of in-ground plants of the season, plus nearly 100 fruiting trees and bushes including apples, pears, peaches, figs, grapes and blackberries.
