📢 It's been a blast & we will miss you!
Three years ago, we took a chance on a bigger location at 4619 N 10th St. Boba was booming, and Anime was growing fast. But times have changed.
The Valley went from just a handful of boba shops to many. Then came tariffs, inflation, and tighter wallets. We get it - boba and collectibles might not be at the top of everyone’s list anymore and with our lease ending and business slowing down, we’ve made the tough call to close our doors. Our last day will be Saturday, December 6th.
🎁 To say thanks: We will be having a sale during our final week. Any drink, any size (16oz or 24oz), just $5! Come and enjoy one last drink under our Sailor Moon, Naruto & Goku Murals.
🧋 Boba Bomb isn’t done, we’ll still pop up at Anime Fiesta, South Texas Comic Con, All Star Card Show and other local events and we’re hyped to launch our new food/beverage truck in early 2026. This isn’t goodbye, It’s see you later.
So what about Anime Boom you ask?
🎉 Anime Boom will return to it's original location at 801 Pecan Blvd in McAllen on Dec 8.
