Five years ago I was just recovering from surgery for Pancreatic Cancer (Whipple Procedure or Pancreaticoduodenectomy) and beginning my first rounds of 6 months of Chemotherapy. The 5-year relative survival rate for pancreatic cancer in the United States is 12%.
A LOT of people prayed for me. 🙏🏼 I was believing for a supernatural healing with no surgery, but ended up needing to walk through the whole process. With excellent surgical and medical resources, caring staff and first class care at MD Anderson, I walked through the most difficult struggle of (and for) my life.
I’m so grateful for such excellent medical care, but I’m even more grateful for the prayers and support from my friends and family as well as many others who believed for my healing and total recovery.
I had such peace walking through it all.🚶🏼♀️I know God was walking with me each step. It wasn’t an easy path and I would never want to go through it again, but He brought me through to the other side. 🙌🏼
Thanks, again, for all of you who prayed for me, stood with me and encouraged me each step of the way! ❤️
