I was shopping electric today while Bud was working on his vocab book, which was the perfect opportunity to detour for a field trip to the electric meter.

We talked about reading the meter, shopping electric, how kWh works, why we had a spike when the hot water heater took a crap, the PUC, and we reviewed the electric bill.

Our new piece of equipment is a dough divider!

We really wanted a vintage Dutchess, but they are running $3-5K on the used equipment market and harder to track down - so a cheaper option was Vevor.

Vevor definitely isn’t my first choice when it comes to equipment, but I think this will be a huge help to us.

We hope to use it for pepperoni rolls, sandwich rolls, dinner rolls, bagels, and who knows what else! Stay tuned as we learn!
