God has been reminding us...in every situation..to remember His faithfulness, His goodness. No matter what is going on around us or whatever may come our way...He is faithful.

The day I got the news that my mother had cancer, it seemed like the world stood still. So many questions ran through my mind. That day, I went into a store with my little 3-year-old daughter, her hand held tightly in mine. As we walked, my mind flashed back to when I was 3 years old, holding my own mother’s hand.
It's one of the very first memories I have...holding her hand and walking close by her side. It’s such a vivid memory of us together.
I tried to keep from falling apart as I walked through the store with my sweet little girl. Fear filled my heart and I wondered what the future would bring.
Yesterday, I walked through that very same store holding my little 3-year-old granddaughter’s hand. What a story this little girl has! And in spite of a hard start, the Lord has been with her every step of the way. As I held her hand and walked through that very same store, the store I had walked through years before with her sweet mother on such a hard day, not knowing what was to come, I felt as if the Lord whispered to my heart. Just look at all I have brought you through. I am faithful. 🙌
He is not only faithful to me; He is faithful to the generations. Things can get hard along the way, but He never leaves us or forsakes us in the process. We can count on Him! He is faithful! ❤️

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness! ❤️

We want to thank our dear friends that gave, after I posted needs for some very precious babies last week. I am so grateful for the Lord's faithfulness and providing what was needed! It is hard to express how much it meant. ❤️🙌
If you or someone you know would like to give to Hidden Treasures and help sustain us this month, we would be so grateful.
Since regular giving and donations have been down, it has made it hard to sustain things here at the farm. We have animals to care for and feed and much work that needs to be done.
We can't give in the community and walk with families if we can't sustain things here and take care of daily needs. Enrique's heart is to continue traveling with teams to the islands and remote areas here in Costa Rica. This has been such a blessing to the people there and an encouragement to Enrique too.
The Lord has been good and faithful to see us through each day. We are asking Him for wisdom to show us what to do going forward.

Today we got a message in the wee hours of the morning for a baby who needed to go to the emergency room. He was having trouble breathing due to asthma and a bad cold. Through the years, I can't count the times that we have taken little ones to the emergency room. I know the panic a young mother can feel when her child is sick and cannot breath. Anyone who has had children knows how often you can end up in the doctor's office. Enrique has had so many nights spent in the emergency room with all our children and the ones we walk closely with.
I had two more messages from young mothers this morning needing medicine for babies too. 🥹
These babies are family to us! Any child that has ever been in our home is family and we continue to walk with them.

Things have been very tight financially, not only for us but for other missionaries serving. I talked with a dear missionary friend today and she reminded me of a song we used to sing....

🎵" My hope is in you Lord...My strength is in you Lord...my life is in you Lord..it's in you, it's in you!🎵

We continue to put our hope in Him to supply every need, for every child!!
Today we need around $200 to cover medical expenses and medicines.
We also are short $250 dollars for school payments for children. They extended our time to pay until the end of the month.
If the Lord touches your heart to give...it would be a tremendous blessing to these children!

Also would you pray for Enrique...he does so much! He is always looking for a way to support and love the ones we walk with.

This was a video of the first earthquake, taken right near our home in the wee hours of the morning. (It sounded like a train came through our home, and some things fell, including two doors that came off their hinges.😳) Two minutes later, we had another strong quake. My husband rushed out of the house to check on family that lives in a small house on our property. He was running when the second quake came. It was a very strange feeling, having the ground move and shake under your feet while running. Our barn looked like it would shake to pieces, but it stayed together. We are grateful for the Lord’s protection.

We had a slumber party in the living room last night and saw the sun coming up when we finally laid down. Our sweet granddaughter just wanted to be hugged and reassured that the house would not fall down. "Tita, I didn't like that noise" She is three and trying to understand what happened. That always opens up the door to talk about our Father’s great love for us and how Jesus is always with us! I am so glad He is!!! And so grateful for His love and faithfulness.

It has been an exciting time here the last few weeks, not having water and trusting for provision each day. But God is good, and as a dear friend wrote me this morning… “God knows what we need before we even need it. He is faithful!” Thank you for your prayers!! And thank you for your love and support!

A very dear friend of mine said to me, "I love to see how God is faithful in the little bitty things." And if God cares about the "little things" we can rest assured that He is working on the bigger things, and He sees it all!!!

After a few weeks, where it seems like it has been one thing after another...I am putting my eyes on Jesus and remembering His faithfulness.

We have no water again today. Hopefully it will be turned on soon. 😔 The water came in clear yesterday. Enrique has been working and repairing things that have needed fixing. I think he has made some friends at the hardware store.😅 We had two pipes burst in the house and he was able to get those fixed. There is still more work to be done.

Because we live day to day and are on a tight budget, we don't want any repairs and problems here at the house to affect what we can do in our support for others.(especially the children) We are asking the Lord for wisdom and to show us what to do. There are many repairs and much work is needed here on the farm.
We don't have enough money to pay school fees that are due today and tomorrow. I am asking the Lord to make a way!!

We want to thank our dear friends that have given over the last week...and it is hard to express just how much it means to us!!!

After we adopted five of our children, we continued walking with their three younger siblings. They have faced many challenges but God has been faithful to see them through! We are so proud of the decisions that Jose has made this year. ❤️🙌
He has been attending a small country church and they have encouraged and loved on him. They even put him in charge of the sound system and he is singing in the choir. He saved up enough money from his work on different farms, to get a guitar, which he is able to use at church.
If you only knew his story...it just amazes me!! And shows the great love and mercy of the Lord!! The Lord answers prayers!! Even when we cannot see..He is working!! ❤️🙌🙌

Jose is just one of the kids we walk with. We want to help him continue studying. And continue paying for his bus fare to get to church and choir practice.

Yesterday we had two dear friends that made a donation to help. We are so grateful!! As you know, we have had many extra expenses the last few weeks and problems with our water at home.
We still need about $375 to cover needs with the kids we are supporting. We need to make some payments before the 22 of August.
