We're proud to provide our event space for the McDonough Storytellers Film Festival this summer! Come celebrate the art of storytelling through a local lens.

Come celebrate the art of storytelling through numerous mediums, ranging from traditional categories like feature films, screenplays, and shorts to more unique categories like advertising, audio dramas, movie posters, book covers, and so much more!

The two day McDonough Storytellers Film Festival will include a jam packed agenda of industry panels, seminars, and workshops led by industry leaders, networking galas and hand curated screenings at our venues in the McDonough Square with lots of local businesses participating in the 2 day festivities.

It has been an incredible journey, but the time has come for Story On The Square to turn a new page. Due to David’s upcoming move abroad, we are looking for the perfect successor to take over our beloved bookstore. This shop means the absolute world to us, and our top priority is finding a passionate local buyer who will keep it open, thriving, and deeply embedded in our community. We have built such a beautiful space for readers in McDonough, and would love to see it continue as a bookstore. We realize that our vision might not necessarily align with all prospective buyers out there. If you have a dream that fits in our space, contact us to explore options. If the search for a new bookstore owner does not prove fruitful, we will entertain offers for the real estate and fixtures before closing our doors for the last time.
