BIG NEWS FROM ARTSY CRAFTSY! 💙💛

There couldn't be a more meaningful day for us to announce what's next.

11•10 — our wedding anniversary — we're officially launching CraftZeed™!

If you've been with us at Artsy Craftsy at Break The Moldz, you know that Artsy Craftsy has always been a little piece of Shelly + Lloyd — the Artsy and the Craftsy. ❤️

And as we've traveled, we've heard the question more than once:

“When are you going to bring this HERE?”

Well… this is our answer.

INTRODUCING CRAFTZEED™

Creative Bars On the Go™

CraftZeed takes the creativity and experiences you know from Artsy Craftsy and gives them wheels.

Corporate events. Weddings. Festivals. Birthdays. Schools. Community events. Team building. Celebrations. And places we haven't even been yet.

And we're taking it a step further.

CraftZeed isn't only about making something cute.

Through experiences like BLENDZ™, The Company We Keepz™, our Meaning Experiences™ and more, we're combining creativity, technology and connection so that what you make can actually tell a story.

Make Something. Mean Something.™

So on 11/10, the same day we celebrate us, we're launching the next chapter of something we built together.

Artsy Craftsy isn't going anywhere.

Artsy Craftsy is our home.
CraftZeed™ is how we're bringing the experience to YOU.

🎨 MEET SOFIIA , AND PAINT WITH HER AT ARTSY CRAFTSY! 🎨
At Artsy Craftsy, we believe creativity should do more than fill a canvas it should create opportunities for the people in our community. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Paint with Sofiia, a special six-week painting experience led by one of our own valued team members.
Sofiia is a high school senior and talented young artist who has been creating art for as long as she can remember. She has studied and experimented with charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and oil painting, with oil becoming one of her primary mediums. Her current AP 2D Art portfolio explores her experience as an immigrant in the United States, and she hopes to create work that evokes emotion, encourages people to care, and helps them see the world from a different perspective.
Although Sofiia plans to study journalism in college, art remains an important part of her life. She has incorporated creativity into her work, volunteering, school activities, and now her role here at Artsy Craftsy. STARTING 9.25.26
And we wanted this opportunity to actually benefit her.
💗 Sofiia will receive 65% of the sales from every Paint with Sofiia registration. When you reserve a seat, you aren't simply buying a painting session you are directly supporting a young local artist as she builds her skills, experience, confidence, and future.
🖌️ PAINT WITH SOFIIA

6 weeks • A different painting each week
$35 per person • Supplies included

This is one of those moments where it’s hard not to get a little teary-eyed. 🥹❤️

When we started Artsy Craftsy at Break The Moldz, we wanted to create more than a place to paint or make crafts. We wanted to create a place where people could laugh, create, celebrate, breathe, connect, and simply feel welcome.

And McDonough… you have loved on us. ❤️

To look up today and see , 141 Google reviews ,and a 5.0 rating ,thats something I don’t take lightly.

Those aren't just stars on Google.

Behind every one of those reviews is a person who walked through our doors. A child who made something they were proud of. A family that spent time together. Friends who laughed. Someone who tried something new. Someone who decided our little creative space was worth recommending to somebody else.

And THAT means more than you know.

It’s hard not to get teary-eyed when God just keeps giving us grace. There have been hard days, uncertain days, long days, and days when running a small business required more faith than answers. But somehow, grace keeps meeting us there.

And so does our community.

141 times, someone stopped what they were doing and said, “This place deserves five stars.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow.

To every person who has booked a class, brought your children, celebrated a birthday, made slime, poured a candle, painted, crafted, told a friend about us, shared one of our posts, prayed for us, encouraged us, or left a review:

THANK YOU.

You aren't simply supporting a business.

You're helping a local dream stay alive.

We don't know what God has planned for Break The Moldz next, but if He keeps opening doors, we're going to keep walking through them grateful, humbled, and determined to make this community proud.

McDonough, thank you for giving us room to grow. Thank you for trusting us with your memories. And thank you for helping us continue to Break The Moldz. ❤️

141 reviews. 5.0 stars. One incredibly grateful heart.

God is good. And His grace continues to be enough. 🙏🏾✨

A Message to Our Community

As a small business, we understand that community trust must be earned and protected. Artsy Craftsy works hard to provide an affordable, welcoming creative space for local families, and we do not take your trust for granted.

We have recently been made aware of public posts concerning our business and a payroll matter involving a former young employee. We are also aware that the matter has been presented publicly as a warning to other parents. Because of that, we believe some context is appropriate.

When we were notified that a payroll check had been returned, we immediately replaced the employee's earnings and paid the additional documented costs presented to us at that time.

Initially those payments were made, also there was an additional financial claim was presented that would bring the total amount sought to substantially more than the employee's original earnings.

We did not refuse the claim. We requested documentation showing how the additional losses were calculated and how they resulted from the returned check.

As of this statement, we have not received documentation substantiating those additional claimed losses.

We respect everyone's right to raise concerns. We also believe our community deserves accurate context when a business is publicly presented as having financially harmed an employee. We are a small business and no employee has had to wait for extended time for earned payments. In the 2 years we have been open, we are aware of 2 prior times while we worked out our system this has occurred and when it did payment was made immediately. If you work you deserve on time payment.

Requesting documentation for a substantial additional financial claim is not refusing accountability. It is responsible business practice.

Because this involves a young person, we will not disclose private communications or personal financial information, nor will we engage in a public back-and-forth.

Mistakes and disputes can happen. What matters is how we respond. We responded immediately, paid the supported costs presented to us, and remain willing to review legitimate, documented expenses.

We work hard to keep Artsy Craftsy affordable for our community while treating our employees fairly and operating responsibly.

Your trust matters to us. Thank you. I hate that this situation has reached social media as a warning to our community, but I believe in transparency, accountability, and doing what is right. At this point, I can only continue doing that, trust God, and have faith that this too shall pass.
