This mamas baby boy is 14 weeks old. He’s drinking about 3oz every feed and she’s putting away an extra 7-9 oz per pump session.

Her freezer is full & she’s ready to slow down her production.

We waited until her supply was established before we were sure it wouldn’t slow down on its own.



Today we started block feeding/pumping because she’s completely overwhelmed with her current supply.

And thought some may say “I’d love to make that much milk everytime I pumped!” She’s miserable. She’s leaking ALOT, filling bottles, out of room in her freezer and overwhelmed with staying on top of her stash.

Her goal is to get to about 7-9oz per pump session.

We’ll follow back up next week and see how things are progressing. 🥰

Imagine being mad at a stylist for feeding her toddler WHILE not missing a beat on your hair style!

I saw this post and knew I had to share. People were in the comments saying “not at my appointment” “he’s too old for that” “put it in a cup” & trying to shame her.

How long did it take your baby to get back to their birth weight?

Most breastfed babies return to their birth weight within 10 to 14 days after birth.

Initial loss: Babies safely lose up to 7% to 10% of their birth weight in the first few days from fluid loss.
Turning point: Weight gain usually begins by day 5 once transitional milk comes in.
Target date: Infants should regain their birth weight by two weeks of age.
