The perfect getaway 🌳🌳🌳 no noise besides the crackling of wood 🪵 from the camp fire 🔥 and the local wildlife

The ultimate backcountry sleep system: our Blackbird XLC paired with the DiamondBack Top Quilt and Wooki Under Quilt.

No cold spots, zero fuss to adjust, just pure, dialed-in comfort when the temperature drops. Huge thank you to everyone trusting us to keep you warm out there.

Extra Top Tip: please remember to take into account environmental factors such as wind and humidity. They will suck the heat from your sleep system very quickly. Our recommendation is to take a system at least 10 degrees warmer than the low.

➡️➡️ Now that’s it’s October, we recommend to start thinking about using a 10 degree Fahrenheit system or warmer.

What’s the lowest temp you’ve taken your XLC through?

Wind, if not blocked can rob your underquilt of heat and temp rating, so it’s important to block it in cooler conditions. The Underquilt protector does just that and it also allows for the use of a smaller tarp than would otherwise be needed. It also can be used as extra storage space under the hammock, and has a zipper which allows you to zip your whole kit up together, without having to take your setup apart.

There is nothing better than getting back to camp after a long day on the stalk. We love seeing our gear put to work out in the wild.

You might spot a piece of our history in this video. That specific ground shelter is a legacy model we no longer sell. But the DNA lives on in our current gear.
