With sleet and freezing rain forecast for much of PA this afternoon into tomorrow morning, we urge motorists to avoid unnecessary travel.

If you must travel or commute during this winter weather, please follow these driving tips to stay safe:

✔ Use extra caution, especially on ridges and ramps which are prone to icy conditions.
✔ Increase following distance between vehicles.
✔ Avoid sudden maneuvers on the road.
