Dear Facebook Friends and Hidden Oasis Cards Players and Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that Hidden Oasis Cards will be closing its doors at the end of this month, with the last day of operation and service to the Humboldt community being Monday April 1st.

Over six years ago I followed an idea and a dream shared with one of my best friends and confidants, with both our passions for trading cards and gaming combining to create an Oasis and gathering place for all to come and be comfortable and even competitive when the time was there. As a result, I have gained invaluable connections and experiences and I can’t thank you all so much for supporting the shop for all the time it has been standing. I might not be sure what the future holds, but I am grateful for every moment I got to spend with you all!

While there are a few factors that went into making this heavy decision, I came to the hard conclusion that it is time for me to focus on my best going forward as well as my overall health and happiness.

I am beyond grateful as well as thankful for the support of the Hidden Oasis Cards community and especially to my past business partner and best friend, Tommy, for giving me this amazing opportunity to grow and foster the Oasis over these years. Although it is hard to say goodbye, I know that all good things must come to an end and I hope that despite the unideal location of Hidden Oasis that we at least hope you enjoyed your stay at the Oasis and gave you something to remember the shop and the times you might have shared with friends.

From now until Monday April 1st, I will be at the Oasis doing my best to have a few more awesome games and trades as well as any other last shopping needs anyone would want. Please continue to drive by or call and share around the final support for the shop.

There will be flash sales and discounts all weekend and the final day of operation for the shop! Sealed booster boxes of Karlov Manor, Pokemon Elite Trainer Boxes, and discounts on flashy cool singles for your decks!

Thank you all, honestly and truly from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me, Tommy in the past, and for all the unforgettable memories I will cherish and hold on moving forward.

We had so much fun so thank you and goodnight.

Hey there everyone ! It's been a while since I posted updates for the shop and I apologize for that!

Hidden Oasis is still going and is still open! Murders at Karlov Manor product is at the shop and on sale too!

And the next MTG store championship will be held in the next two weeks!

Hope that I can see you all soon and that you haven't heard the shop has been closed either, which has NOT been the case.

Hey there everyone and good news!

Are you interested in preordering for the March of the Machine set releasing on April 14th?

Hidden Oasis is starting preorders for this awesome jam packed set, with Draft and Set Booster boxes $130 for preordering and prerelease kits are $35 each!

Collector booster boxes will be $325 and Commander Precons for $45.

And Acorns in April will be the theme for FNM tomorrow too! Unsanctioned decks will be given out at random with additional packs thrown in for 3 rounds of silly Magic fun!

Hey there everyone and good news! The Oasis is back up and running after a little Covid recovery and getting back from seeing family back down at home and there are so many awesome new releases and events on the horizon!

To start, the shop will be holding a makeup Magic Store Championship this weekend on Saturday, November 5th (Or when we have enough able players) and the format will be Pioneer with a buyin of $20! Come on down to test your best Pioneer build and try to win the cool full art foil Omnath, Locus of Creation promo as well as other prizes and promos to participating players!

This Championship was to be held in mid October but I was down with a light case of Covid and wanted to make sure the shop was sanitized and such before planning out another big event. Thank you all for being understanding and the shop is back on track!

The Brothers' War for Magic is releasing next weekend on November 11th and preorders are live with Set Boosters and Draft boosters for $130, Commander Precons for $45, and Collector Edition boxes for $250. This exciting time bending and lore heavy artifact set is one you do not want to miss out on!

The land of Rathe is returning to the Oasis with the new fiery release of the newest Flesh and Blood set, Dynasty! This supplemental set can give you Royal status as well as provide some much needed upgrades to your Blitz or CC decks! Plus, there are new and shiny Cold Foils and Dragons! Pre-orders are up and boxes are starting at $80 but don't wait as this box price will go up after a few weeks.

Call or message the shop to get your spot for a prerelease event or for a reserved booster box.

Also, I will be gone next weekend November 11th to the 13th for my sister's wedding in Napa and unfortunately the release dates for these sets fall on that same weekend.

In short, Hidden Oasis will still hold a Brothers' War and Dynasty prerelease events but it will be on the weekend after November 11th.

I apologize for this schedule conflict and for the shop being on and off closed this past month and a half. The shop will be open for most if not all of the rest of the months to come and especially for the upcoming Holiday season!!

Space and spooky season is upon Hidden Oasis Cards and with it comes a lot of exciting releases and events!!

Quick note, I will not have the shop open later this weekend, I am traveling up to Portland to visit the city, see friends, and maybe get some ideas for the Oasis!

However! Preorders are up for the new Warhammer 40K Commander decks and the best joke set around, Unfinity, both of which release on the weekend of October 7th!

Hidden Oasis will be doing a Commander Party as well as an Unfinity draft party filled with fun, candy, and other amazing prizes and promos!!

Preorders for the next set of Flesh and Blood, Dynasty are up as well and weekly Sunday Armories are still firing off and we encourage anyone to come in and find the fun in Flesh and Blood and the awesome community the shop has been growing!

Hey everyone, good news!!

This Friday for Dominaria United Release weekend is super special, with FNM being Game Day with awesome promos! Start time will be 6:30pm with a $20 buyin.

With the coolest news of all, Tommy will be back in town for the weekend and jamming games and drafting with us!!!

Come on down this weekend to say hi, play some games, and check out the new additions to the Oasis!

Hey there everyone and time bending news is on the horizon at Hidden Oasis Cards!

The Oasis has expanded its gaming area and inventory space as well as hosting many exciting events and releases coming up!

With Magic's 30th Anniversary dropping next year, Wizards is getting the ball rolling with a legendary return to the start of it all, Dominaria! Dominaria United releases on September 2nd for prerelease and the shop is taking preorders now until the street release date of September 9th!

Set and Draft booster boxes are $130 preordered and will include a promo and other goodies!

Flesh and Blood Uprising season has been a fiery hit at the Oasis, with Skirmish last weekend and weekly Armory Sundays that will start to feature the new Commoner format and more draft events!

Hidden Oasis is also hosting weekly painting workshops on Sundays for miniatures and other assorted projects as well! Come on by for a chill Sunday paint session and meet some awesome people and perhaps Kevin, the official shop dog!

I can't wait to game, crack some packs, and paint some minis with everyone! See you all soon!

Hey there everyone and good news!

The Oasis has many exciting events and releases coming up, including next week's July 8th's release of Double Masters 2 and the newest Flesh and Blood set, Uprising! The shop is still taking preorders for these awesome new products!

Double Masters 2 draft booster boxes are $275 and collector booster boxes are $300, with Flesh and Blood Uprising boxes being $90!

Another quick update is that I will be out of town this Thursday until July 7th, I'm going down to see family and celebrate Charlie and my little sister's birthdays!

I will be on limited availability for preorders over phone and messenger but I will try my best to get to anyone over the week I am gone!

After I get back, Hidden Oasis will be hosting a Magic Regional Championship Qualifier as well as many other exciting draft events and more!

With the honorable mention of the new Miniature Paint Workshop that is now on Sundays!

I can't wait to draft, crack some packs, and paint some minis with everyone soon!

Hello there everybody!!

Exciting news and events are coming up and on the horizon here at the Oasis! This Friday, June 3rd, starts prerelease for the highly anticipated Magic Commander Legends set, Battle for Baldur's Gate!

With all new DnD cards, powerful reprints, and etched foils what is not to love and get excited for?

Then on the weekend of June 17th, the Oasis is heating up for the hottest new set for Flesh and Blood, Uprising! Come on down for tight gameplays with the newest heroes added to the Rathe roster!!

As always, the shop is running prerelease sales for both of these sets, with $120 for Baldur's Gate Set and Draft booster boxes and $100 for a 1st edition box of Uprising!

Hey there everyone!!

Good news and changes have arrived at the Oasis and it is time for another update!

Streets of New Capenna released and with those sweet gilded foils and new powerful cards, it has been an awesome set to open and jam games with everyone!

We also have the newest Flesh and Blood set, Uprising, releasing in June and the shop is getting fired up with Armory events on Sundays and soon Blitz and Constructed Saturdays to really get some practice in with your heroes!

The Oasis has also made some renovations, with a new gaming area for all kinds of console or other games, plus a dedicated Dungeons and Dragons area with a very comfy Dungeon Master chair.

Another quick update!

The shop will be closed this Mother's Day weekend until Tuesday May 10th, I am flying down to spend time with my family! Hope everyone has an amazing weekend while the shop is closed and we look forward to seeing everyone this week and next for some games and of course Friday Night Magic and Armory Sundays!
