Hey guys, Brittany from Fair & Square here! Here’s a little peek at our trip out to the International Folk Art Market in Santa, where over 150 vendors from 50 different countries shared their handmade crafts! It was a beautiful conglomeration of cultures, textures, color, and language all in one place. I left feeling reminded of how small the world is and how natural connection can come when there’s an appreciation, curiosity, and honoring of one another. ❤️ We also got to meet one of our vendors Ujjwal from Nepal—such an honor. Excited to share more about our knits and cashmeres from the artisans Ujjwal works with—coming to the shop soon!

Ghana! Fair & Square is representing this beautiful country for McKinney’s “Summer of Soccer” program in honor of the World Cup! You can pick up a free guide to all participating businesses at Tupp’s, Visit McKinney, or the Chupacabras store. You’ll receive a “passport” and can visit shops to add your stamps. Pick one up and come see us!

Some of our products from Ghana include our bolga baskets and fans, batik journals and wallets, colorful headbands and jewelry, and calabasa and cowrie shell musical shakers. Go Ghana! 🇬🇭
