Beverly Stewart, Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator

Beverly Stewart, Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I am one of those rare people who love what they do and get to share what I love. And I love stamping! Handmade cards? bag. There.

Because...no one displays an email on their mantle, or saves a FB post in a box of treasures. Story of a Paper Ju**ie:

I've been making cards all my life. My Maw Maw really nourished my creativity and made sure I had supplies and lessons. After I married my husband, he introduced me to computers and desktop publishing. The cards I created on the computer were appreciated by friends and our small

community where we lived in Alabama. I became the go-to person for showers and announcements. I didn't discover Stampin' Up! until I went to my first Stampin' Up! workshop in Tampa, Florida. That was over 10 years ago in January of 2001. I was hooked when I found out that the papers and inks matched {I LOVED that!} Still do. I sat looking through the catalog for 2 hours after the workshop was over. My very patient demonstrator sat and waited for me--she knew I was hooked! I became her very best customer. When we moved to Texas in 2003—I found my first friend when I saw her carrying a Stampin’ Up! I wanted to follow her home! At last--Stampin in Texas! FINALLY I saw the light and became a demonstrator (July, 2006). Just a hobbyist, you know....

Can’t believe I didn’t sign up to be a demonstrator that first day in Tampa! My collection has grown exponentially since I became a demonstrator—and so has my list of friends! It’s been fun to grow as a paper-artist through the years. How may I help you blossom as a paper artist? Now I’ve come full-circle. My Digital Studio entered my life last summer and I’m learning to make cards on the computer again…but it will never take the place of getting my hands in the paper and ink. Gotta love it! A gallery of all of my cards is on Splitcoaststampers--where I am called ruby-heartedmom. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=43468

If you are curious about the non-stamping side of my life….keep reading.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love my life! I was born in Texas, have lived all over the south, and I'm now happily re-established in Texas. I'm married to Randy--my hero and best friend. We've been married for more than 30 years. Randy is a software engineer and works from home half of the time. The other half of the time he flies around the country meeting with clients. In the summers, I sometimes get to travel with him and play while he works. Boston is my favorite place to go with him. Randy and I have raised two wonderful kids. They were homeschooled all the way through and both have finished college--so we didn't warp them too badly. The artsy one is a film major pursuing her dream in California--or all over the world (sometimes). The geeky one is married and happily tinkering with computers in Tennessee. My daughter-in-love is also my Stampin' Up friend and fellow stamper. No grandchildren yet. I’ll be sure to let you know when that happens! The most important person in my life is Jesus. He loves me better than anyone else does. He understands me better than anyone else does too. I try to center everything I do in life around Him. I even asked Him if I should get involved in stamping. He said, “Yes!” Ask me about Him sometime. I would love to tell you more. Besides making cards, I have been teaching all of my life. Playing school was my favorite game when I was a kid. I taught public school before I had children. When the kids came along I homeschooled them. Now I teach Worldviews to homeschooled highschoolers 3 days a week. That leaves one day per week for housekeeping. One day for family. One day for rest and worship…
…and one day for STAMPING! (It really IS addicting!) I love my life! Now you know more than you really wanted to know about me--and I took more than one paragraph to do it, too. What's your story? How did you come to visit my website? I'd love to hear from you!
Happy Anniversary to me!
