It’s Election Season! If you didn’t know, early voting is already available in Virginia!
We signed up to write and send 200 postcards to voters in Ohio. Progressive Turnout identified the voters, drafted and tested some messages, and provided the postcards. We will hand write and address all of them on Sunday, Oct. 4th, between noon and 5pm. If this effort matches your schedule and your politics, please stop by anytime in that window and help us out. Spend a few minutes or an hour. Write 1 or 25 yourself!
If you could bring some postcard stamps, that would be helpful too! (They are currently $.65 each from the post office.)
Postcards to Swing States is a Progressive Turnout Project initiative. Their postcard program started in a volunteer’s garage. Since 2020, volunteers in all 50 states, D.C. and U.S. territories have sent more than 108 million handwritten messages to voters, more than any other organization. Progressive Turnout Project is the largest voter contact organization in the country, specifically dedicated to mobilizing the Democratic Party and defending democracy. Our mission: rally Democrats to vote.
