🚨 CAMPERS. CANCEL YOUR ERRANDS. WE HAVE A WEEKEND SITUATION. 🚨
This weekend, Happy Camper is serving up two very different flavors of fabulous:
✨ A Pleasant Garden collector’s house so magnificently overfilled that the house itself, the outbuildings, and the sewing studio all deserve their own zip code.
⚡ And a Hamilton Forest one-day sale that will be gone before you finish saying, “I wonder if they’ll still have—”
Spoiler: They will not.
🌿 PLEASANT GARDEN
The Private-Gravel-Road Treasure Hunt of Your Dreams
Let’s be clear: this is not a sale.
This is an archaeological event.
Somewhere in Pleasant Garden, a collector spent years lovingly gathering purses, shoes, clothing, china, holiday collectibles, electronics, housewares, sewing supplies, décor, and approximately eleven thousand things that will make you yell, “OH MY GOD, MY GRANDMOTHER HAD ONE OF THOSE.”
The house is packed.
The outbuildings are packed.
The sewing studio is packed.
If you hear a faint voice whispering, “There’s more in the next room,” do not be alarmed. That is just the sale talking.
👜 Dooney & Bourke. Kate Spade. Coach. Fossil. Michael Kors. Etienne Aigner.
👠 Purses, shoes, and clothing with enough choices to make your closet feel personally attacked.
🧵 Sewing machines by Singer, White, Elna, Brother, Morse, and Kenmore—plus enough sewing goodness to make every creative person suddenly announce they are “getting back into it.”
🎄 Lenox. Fitz & Floyd. Clothtique. Jim Shore. Because Christmas apparently has no off-season and, frankly, we respect the commitment.
🍽️ Lenox, Mikasa, Royal Albert, Franciscan, Studio Nova, Queen China, Royal Victorian, Temper Ware, and more table-setting temptation than you can shake a gravy boat at.
📺 Emerson, Sony, Phillips, Realistic, RCA, Technic, Samsung, Magnavox, Olympic…and all kinds of gloriously unexpected finds in between.
This is where you find the thing you didn’t know you were looking for, immediately decide you cannot live without it, and then spend the drive home explaining to your spouse that it was “practically free.”
Now, Campers: this glorious circus is down a private gravel road, so parking is limited.
The cones are not festive roadside pumpkins.
They are not tiny orange decorations.
They are not a personal challenge.
Respect the cones. Keep the road clear. Be sweet to the neighbors. Then let the Happy Camper Golf Cart shuttle you into the madness like the treasure-hunting royalty you were always meant to be.
⚡ HAMILTON FOREST
One Day. One Shot. Absolutely No Take-Backs.
Hamilton Forest is a one-day sale, which means we need everybody to remove “I’ll come back tomorrow” from their vocabulary immediately.
Tomorrow, the sale will be over.
The good rug will be in somebody else’s living room.
The bike will be halfway down the greenway.
And you will be standing in your kitchen, staring at the sad little space where that American Drew furniture should have been.
Waiting for you:
🛋️ La-Z-Boy and American Drew furniture
🍽️ Royal Jackson china
🌀 Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE appliances
🚲 Varsity and Schwinn bikes
🌿 Outdoor furniture
🏠 Rugs, wall décor, home décor, games, storage solutions, holiday décor, and clothing for him and her
In short: plenty of reasons to set an alarm, drink your coffee with purpose, and get there before someone else gets emotionally attached to your stuff.
Two sales.
Two entirely different adventures.
One extremely strong case for a roomy trunk and absolutely no afternoon obligations.
Pleasant Garden: bring your patience, your curiosity, and your willingness to hunt.
Hamilton Forest: bring your decisiveness, because Saturday is all she wrote.
See y’all on the trail, Campers. 🏕️
