One of my favorite things about the Merc is discovering the incredible talent of our local makers. Every handmade item has a story, and this week I found some real standouts.

🌿 A beautiful pottery planter filled with a gorgeous succulent arrangement (choosing just one was hard!)
🪵 A beautifully laser-engraved cutting board featuring a whimsical raccoon and the cheeky phrase, “Don’t Get Me Started,” with a sourdough starter theme that will make bakers smile.
🪡 Handmade coaster sets created from vintage quilts, giving treasured fabrics a whole new life.
💌 Gorgeous handmade greeting cards that are almost too pretty to send.
🐈 And my personal favorite—a quilted tote bag featuring classic black-and-white fabrics with playful cats and polka dots.

This week’s mood? Sunlight dancing through stained glass. 🌈

As I wandered the Merc, these gorgeous stained glass pieces caught my eye. There’s something about the way they transform ordinary light into brilliant color that makes you want to stop and admire them for just a moment.

One of my favorite things about the Merc is that every walk through the aisles feels a little different. One week it’s vintage Pyrex, another it’s an unexpected treasure like this. You never know what’s waiting to brighten your day.

What Caught My Eye This Week ✨

This week, it was vintage recipe boxes. ❤️

Metal, wood, plastic… every one had its own personality. Some were beautifully decorated, and a few were even filled with handwritten recipes collected over the years. Just imagine the family meals, holiday baking, and favorite dishes those little boxes have held.

It’s treasures like these that remind me every vintage item has a story to tell.
