After a couple of days to let the smoke settle, all I can say is… WOW!

Thank you to each and every one of you who made this season the wildest one yet. 🇺🇸 America’s 250th was definitely one for the books!

First and foremost, thank you to every customer who gave us the opportunity to serve you. Your support means everything to us.

Thank you to our incredible employees, our family and friends, and the communities that trusted us with your celebrations and professional fireworks shows. None of this would be possible without you.

Join us on July 3rd as the City of Spencer and our community partners come together to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with an evening full of fun, history, music, food, and fireworks!

🎉 FREE EVENT! Festivities begin at 4:00 PM and will end with a spectacular fireworks show!

✨ Here's what you can look forward to:

🏛️ Explore Local History: 4 PM
The Van Buren County Historical & Heritage Museum will offer guided tours highlighting our rich local heritage and will honor those who have served our nation in a special tribute. Stay tuned to their page for more details.

💦 Kids' Splash Fest: 4 to 7 PM
The VBC Homecoming Committee will host children's activities at the Veterans Stage Area (behind the library), including exciting water games and family fun!

🍔 Fair Food Favorites: 4 PM
The Van Buren County Fair Association will open their food stand at the fairgrounds, serving up all your favorite fair foods. Local food vendors will also be on-site with delicious treats and refreshing beverages. (Contact Lesa Bouldin at the Spencer Caney Fork Electric Office for more information.)
👉 This is a special fundraiser for the Fair Association, so come hungry and show your support!

🇺🇸 Patriotic Spirit
The Van Buren-Spencer Chamber of Commerce will soon announce a patriotic decorating contest for residents and businesses. Follow their page for upcoming details!

🎶 Live Concert Featuring Cody McCarver
Opening ceremonies begin at 7:00 PM, followed by a performance from Cody McCarver!

A former member of country music powerhouse Confederate Railroad, Cody has shared the stage with legends including Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, and Merle Haggard. His successful solo career has topped charts and led to appearances in several motion pictures and western films. Raised in neighboring Sequatchie County and with deep family ties to Van Buren County, Cody's performance promises to be a memorable hometown celebration.

For most people, fireworks are a once-a-year tradition. For us, they’re just one part of what we do.
