I’ve procrastinated making this post because putting it into words makes it feel real. 🥲
August 6th will be our last business day as Discount City in McPherson.
It’s hard to explain how much this store has meant to me. There have been plenty of joys… and a few frustrations. 😝😡 But more than anything, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people that I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.
I want everyone to know that we are not closing because the business failed. Kairos Wholesale is alive and doing well. Unfortunately, it just isn’t practical to continue operating at our current location. Some of you have even reached out with offers of other buildings, and that truly means a lot. One of the biggest challenges with a bin store, though, is finding a location with enough parking and the right setup to make it successful.
Between now and August 6th, we’ll still be stocking the bins and doing our best to give you a last chance to find some great deals. We’ll also be clearing out inventory along the way.
I’ll be in Mississippi until August 1st, but Robert Sparks will be at the store and happy to help with anything you need.
We also have bulk quantities of drinks, pet wipes, and other merchandise available. If you’re interested in buying by the pallet message me or talk with Robert about pricing.
And before everyone gets too sad and decides to never leave the house again… 😂 remember we still have our South Hutch location Treasure Trove.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, McPherson. Thank you for supporting us, for laughing with us, for being patient with us on the crazy days, and for making this little bin store feel like more than just a business. It’s been an honor to serve this community, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories.
We hope to see you over these last few weeks—and hopefully down the road at Treasure Trove.
