I finally got some much needed therapy at my sewing machine. I hate when it takes me so long to get a quilt completed. Getting close now. 🤪

Last night was such a blessing. Spent some therapy time at my sewing machine while listening to rain. Then decided with all summer ballgames I needed a hand sewing project so for the first time in 40+ years I am going to cross stitch. I found a hoop from my Granny (that taught me to cross stitch, knit, crochet, and love all things crafty) and got the project underway. I can’t believe how relaxing a little needle time is.

Didn’t get a whole lot of time to sew this past weekend but squeezed in a little. Got one of each block done for the Ruby quilt, got the chicken cut out and started appliquéing and got the posy quilt ready. I sure enjoy handwork.

Have you ever had one of those week’s or months where you just can’t do one more thing? Everything is converging on this week. Between grands, doctor with my mom, print jobs and life, I’m on overload. We will be by appointment only at the store this week. My cell is 620-338-7412. We have 3 kits available from Petal and Polka Dots. They will go live on the website today. Posy Time, Miss Sweet Pea and an exclusive to HQ Ruby. The first two are mini quilts that I would call a wall hanging or table topper. Miss Sweet Pea has the cutest chicken on it and I am going to make a pillow (which I kitted). Ruby is an actual quilt 67x78. I plan to get as many of them made this week as possible so I will keep you posted!!
