A Southern Holiday

A Southern Holiday Spreading SOUTHERN HOLIDAY CHARM through custom holiday home decor and accents. My name is Lauren Shields and I LOVE the holidays! ALL HOLIDAYS! GUESS WHAT?

And I enjoy decorating for ALL THE holidays. I find joy in helping others give their homes and spaces that special magic touch for the holidays. All items used in my creations are handpicked by me to create each unique piece. I love the thrill of hunting for individual pieces to bring my creations to life that will fill your space with joy and southern charm. CUSTOM ORDERS
I do accept custom order

s for all things. Bows, wreaths, trees, mailbox covers, and you name it. You can give me ideas of what you like, dislike, colors, themes, etc. What I will not do is create something exactly like a picture you have found online. I will use them as a guide to get ideas of your preferences but will not duplicate them. I enjoy the unique creation of each of my pieces and letting my artist energy guide me throughout. I like to call this my southern Feng shui! It is also VERY time consuming trying to find specific pieces that are sometimes nowhere to be found. But you will receive a creation that you will love and enjoy! ABOUT MY TREES
These trees are an investment and will last for YEARS if taken care of properly. No two trees are identical! My goal is not to make cookie cutter items, but to craft individual, magical pieces. I spend a lot of time hunting for the perfect pieces to use in my trees and other creations. The trees are a perfect piece for a corner, living room, dining room, bedroom, porch, office, store front, and the list goes on. All decorations and pieces are secure within the tree. If something falls out? No biggie, stick it back in or give me a call and I can help. THE INVESTMENT
“I LOVE your trees, but they are just so expensive.”
I would love to be able to make these affordable to everyone. But I also have to cover costs and I assure you I am not becoming a millionaire from decorating Christmas Trees and making holiday home décor. (Although I really wish I was). I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Just to put things in perspective…get out your calculator and start adding. An artificial pre-lit tree, mesh, ribbon, ornaments, picks, accent pieces, TIME. What’s your number? How much is your time worth? Believe you me, I GET IT! I pride myself in making unique pieces that each customer will enjoy, for holidays to come, which requires, dedicated time and quality products and supplies. What if I change my décor style/theme next year? If you purchase one of my trees, and decide next year you want something different, return your tree to be reused for a credit towards your next purchase. OR use it for the next holiday. Who says Christmas trees are just for Christmas? Tree must be in good condition and all lights working properly to receive credit. Average credit will range from $40-$60. CONVINIENCE
We all dread the after holiday lull of having to take down all the holiday décor. With these trees you can simply cover them and stick them in a closet until next year. CARING FOR YOUR TREE
At the end of the holiday, use a Christmas Tree cover (Amazon has good ones) to cover your tree and allow it to remain standing. Another option is to use 2 contractor size trash bags. Cut a slit in the middle of one bag to run up the pole of the Christmas tree to allow the tree to remain in the stand. Pull the second bag over the top of the tree and tie the two bags together in the middle of the tree to fully cover the tree. Stick the tree in a closet, attic, or other storage area. Next year, pull the tree out, take off the cover, and fluff. If you have to lay your tree down to store, lay it on the back side of the tree. There will be a little additional fluffing needed the following year.
