🏡 Two Homes. Two Families. One Celebration! 🎉

After months of hard work, dedication, and community support, two new Habitat homes in Doswell are ready to become homes!

Join us on Thursday, August 27 at 4 p.m. as we celebrate the completion of these two homes and the families who will soon call them home.

❤️ Jessica and her family will be purchasing a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.
💙 Omar and Iris will be purchasing a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.

A home dedication is more than a ribbon-cutting - it's a chance to celebrate what can happen when families, volunteers, donors, and the community work together.

Our ReStore depends on dedicated volunteers to keep things running smoothly, and we need your help! We’re seeking volunteers Monday through Saturday for morning (9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) and afternoon (1:00–5:00 p.m.) shifts.

ReStore volunteers support everything from inventory and organizing donations to customer service on the sales floor. No two days are ever the same, and you never know what unique treasures you’ll uncover along the way!

Stop by the store and see the many unique treasures! We are open Monday through Saturday, 9 am until 5 pm, and are located at 7199 Stonewall Parkway, Mechanicsville VA.

When you drop off your metal, our wonderful team of volunteers takes apart the appliances and fixtures to retrieve the valuable metal. Metal is turned into cash to support the construction of affordable housing and critical repairs in Hanover and King William.

Last fiscal year, you helped us raise $34,941 by reselling 152,504 pounds of aluminum cans and scrap metal. Wow!

Don't forget to bring us your metal! We are still in a Novelis aluminum competition through the end of October.
