Not much else to talk about, so let's discuss Verizon. This has to be one of the worst companies in the United States. They automatically renew a 2 year service agreement, every other year, with no notification to the customer, that guarantees the highest rates in the country, and then charge you ($500 in our case) when you cancel the contract. When you call their corporate offices to cancel the contract, they tell you that you must go to one of their stores to do the cancellation. When you go to a store to cancel it, you get to deal with someone from Pakistan who can barely speak English, but finally ends up telling you that you that you must call the corporate office to cancel. or go to another store. We are still trying to cancel the contract and are now stopping the direct withdrawal from our checking account. As you know, I don't know or care much about cell phones. I misplaced mine for over 2 months and didn't miss it at all. Cherie decided that I had to have a cell phone, finally went to T-Mobile and ended up getting new cell phones (2 @ $1099 ea. which end up being free with the initial service agreement), their monthly rates are far cheaper, and once the initial service agreement is over, you can stop them at any time with no charge. This is the biggest no-brainer in the world. Stop being ripped off by Verizon. Hopefully you can get rid of them before your next service agreement starts, get a new phone, and be charged a lot less. I am not pushing T-Mobile, but am suggesting that anybody but Verizon will be a much better deal for you.
