The synopsis for Drive-in Double Feature #266 ("Alternative 3" and "The Creeper") is wrong. To see the correct synopsis just go on the Sinister Cinema website and check it out. Yesterday the world received the terrible news that John Sterling, long-time announcer for the New York Yankees had passed away that morning at the age of 87. John was a one of a kind character who had a distinctive, one of a kind voice. Known for his home run calls, and the famous, "Yankees win, theeee Yankees win!" victory call, John made you feel as if you were sitting in the stands watching the game rather than on your couch or in your car.

Here at Sinister Cinema, we knew John as an announcer first, listening to him and Suzyn Waldman on game days as the Yankees won or lost over the last two decades. Then we knew him as a customer and a lover of old movies.

He will be missed greatly, here at Sinister Cinema and in the hearts of baseball and Yankee fans all over the world.

Rest in peace, John. Go Yankees.
