Central Art has been a family tradition of ours for two generations now. You see, we started off with a rack of paints and a rack of brushes. But over the years, we’ve added all sorts of supplies to our shelves. We’ve grown our team to include creatives of all types that can answer any questions you might have. And our store is full of people who want to hear about your latest project. We’ll even

frame it for you once you’re finished! While we did come from small beginnings, we’ve grown into a community gathering place where artists can come together under one roof and express themselves.

*3rd Friday Alert* - Central Art Gallery continues its "The Coaster Show” art exhibition for the month of August! Featuring the work of over 200 artists created on 4.5" square coasters, this is Central Art's biggest group show to date!

3rd Friday reception will be from 5-8pm on August 21. Central Art Gallery is located in downtown Medford at 101 N. Central.

Fri. 8/21 5-8pm – Art Walk reception

All coasters are currently available for purchase in store and on Central Art's website (see the link in bio).

The show will be up until 9/12/26. Art Exhibit will be available for viewing Mon-Fri 10-5:30/Sat 10-4:30 (Gallery hours), except during classes.

We hear it all the time from our friends who may simply lack the confidence of Pochade or Jimothy: “I can barely draw stick figures.” Babe it’s okay, maybe you just need a paintbrush and a little set of watercolors to set that inner feral artist free!

ICYMI- We had an INCREDIBLE opening reception for the Coaster Show last Friday, with a packed gallery from 5pm until 8pm! Thank you to everyone who turned out to see the works of over 130 talented artists from all over Southern Oregon, and thanks to all who submitted their work in the show!

The Coaster Show will be displayed until September 12, 2026 and is available for viewing Mon-Fri 10am-5:30pm/Sat 10am-4:30pm, except during classes.

Come on down and see them in-person! Each piece is $50 and available now to purchase! All purchased art will be available for pick up following the show’s closing on September 12.

Get ready for a real roller “coaster” of an art show! Join us tonight at Central Art Gallery from 5-8pm during Medford Third Friday for The Coaster Show! Our BIGGEST group show to date, bringing together over 130 artists from Southern Oregon in one massive community exhibit!

Ranging from elementary school students to professional artists, this exhibit showcases 296 original pieces created on 4.5” x 4.5” coasters.

Each original art piece is priced at $50! First come, first served. All work will be displayed from 07/17 - 09/12/26. Purchased and un-purchased art may be picked up after 09/12.
