Learn how to use steam techniques to smooth, restore and bring new life to tired, frizzy or difficult doll hair - with hands-on instruction so you can confidently use the techniques at home.

Learn how to take apart and properly re-string an American Girl doll so you can confidently tighten loose limbs yourself!

✨ All materials are included with your registration. Bring your own doll to work on, or your registration gives you the option to purchase a $25 project doll from a selection available before class.

Our workshops are beginner-friendly, hands-on, informative and FUN - and you'll leave with restoration skills you can use again and again.

❤️ Class sizes are intentionally kept small so everyone gets plenty of hands-on instruction - and our workshops do fill quickly!

Every once in a while, something comes through the door that makes me stop what I’m doing and just smile.

This is the Beforever Samantha’s Gazebo, and it’s the first one we’ve ever had at AG Annex. I am completely in love with it.

One of my favorite features is that it comes with interchangeable decorations, so it can be transformed for different seasons and holidays. Such a fun idea!

For now, this one isn’t for sale. It’s staying here in the shop because I just couldn’t resist putting it on display.

If you’re stopping by the shop this weekend, be sure to take a look. Pictures are fun, but seeing it set up in person is even better. ❤️

😍 Don’t these red boxes give you a little thrill?!

There’s just something about seeing a fresh American Girl collection waiting to be opened… and we just unpacked another one!

This newest arrival includes lots of Maryellen, Melody, and Saige, along with a smattering of other dolls, outfits, accessories, and a few fun surprises.

POSTPONED

Unfortunately, we need to postpone this Sunday’s Collector Event.

We’re so sorry for the late notice and for any inconvenience this may cause. Due to an unexpected medical issue, we’re unable to host the event as planned.

The store will still be open during our regular hours, and Mark will be there to welcome everyone.

We know many of you were looking forward to getting together, and we truly appreciate your understanding and patience. We will announce a new date as soon as possible and hope you’ll be able to join us then.

Join us Sunday, July 26, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. for an afternoon of laughs, snacks, and a White Elephant gift exchange with fellow American Girl collectors!

Here's how it works:
✨ Bring a wrapped American Girl item from your own collection that you're ready to pass along (approximately $25 value). Items should be in giftable condition.
🎲 We'll draw numbers to choose gifts.
🎁 Then the swapping and stealing begins! Expect lots of laughs - and maybe a little strategy!

🏆 We'll even have prizes for the best-wrapped gift and the most-stolen gift!

No registration is needed - just leave a comment if you're planning to come so we have a rough headcount.

Join us for our Color & Clean: Face Paint Restoration & Doll Deep Cleaning Workshop, where guest instructor Sabrina Little will teach you hands-on restoration techniques that will leave you feeling confident caring for your American Girl and Pleasant Company dolls.

In this workshop you'll learn how to:

💕 Restore faded rosy cheeks and pink lips
🧼 Safely deep clean vinyl
✨ Remove common stains
💗 Refresh older dolls while maintaining a beautiful, natural, factory-inspired look

No experience is necessary—beginners are welcome!

🇺🇸 Holiday Hours Reminder 🇺🇸

Just a friendly reminder that AG Annex will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

What a wonderful afternoon at AG Annex! 💕

A heartfelt thank you to Sammy Trapeni for sharing his knowledge and expertise during yesterday’s American Girl Hair Restoration Class. Our students learned so many techniques for caring for and restoring doll hair, and it was a pleasure watching everyone build new skills and confidence.

Thank you as well to everyone who joined us! We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support, and we love bringing fellow American Girl collectors together to learn something new.

If you missed this class, don’t worry—we’ll definitely be bringing it back! Keep an eye on our page for future dates.

We’re already planning what’s next! Later this week we’ll be announcing the date for our Face Paint Restoration Class, along with another fun collector event. We can’t wait to share the details!

✨ American Girl Hair Rescue Workshop – Registration Now Open! ✨

Ever wished you knew how to bring a doll’s hair back to life?

We’re excited to welcome guest instructor Sammy Trapeni for our upcoming American Girl Hair Rescue Workshop! Sammy will be sharing the techniques he uses to restore and care for doll hair, with plenty of hands-on instruction throughout the class.

✨ Workshop Details:
• Sunday, June 28, 2026
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• AG Annex
• $45 per participant
• Limited to 6 participants
• Adults only (18+)

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn techniques for:

• Brushing and detangling
• Steaming and smoothing
• Curl care and styling
• Hair restoration and maintenance

Whether you’re restoring a childhood favorite, rescuing a thrift store find, or simply want to learn how to better care for your collection, this class is for you.

With only 6 seats available, everyone will have the opportunity to work closely with Sammy and learn techniques they can use again and again on dolls in their own collections.
