The arrangement that brought back my creativity 🤍

On Friday evening after work I pondered what I felt like doing. Finally had the freedom to do as I pleased after the work week. As I walked around my yard I noticed the grapes forming on the vine. I saw apples falling from the trees surrounding me. And I thought to myself how I would love to create. So I did. I gathered the items from my yard. I sat outside on the ground and looked into the field across me. Headphones on, listening to a book, I began to design. Without any thoughts, without any pressure. I didn’t know how it would turn out or if I’d even like it. I let my hands do what they’ve done for over a decade. I let my eyes dream of where the next stem would go. I draped grapes and placed tiny apples within. I felt like myself again.

What a blessing to create. What a blessing to fall back in love with what I do.

The stress of owning a business has pushed me to my limits most days. It has caused me to hate what I once loved. Yet I no longer want to feel that way about my career, my passion, my life’s purpose. So I will create as I please and fall in love with it again🌸
