Cheers to the 53% of you who’ve already filled out your Queen of Shadows Kickstarter surveys! 🎉 (For the rest of you who stopped midway… you’ve left this survey with serious blue balls. Let’s finish it off together. Promise it’ll be satisfying!)

Huge thanks to Liz for pointing out a little glitch! If you ordered the Deluxe Paperback and selected your cover art through the pledge question, BackerKit treated it as adding a whole extra book (and, uh, weight). This may have bumped up your shipping cost. Also, for those with multiple items, book boxes, shirts, etc., I’ve been manually tweaking shipping charges where needed, so you might notice adjustments.

A quick note on shipping: Shirts and hoodies will ship separately from the books and book boxes. This actually saves you money due to warehousing logistics, even if it seems a bit odd.

Not to worry! Your cards won’t be charged until March 1, 2025. That gives plenty of time for payment plans peeps, adjustments, and life happening over the holidays. If you see a shipping amount that seems...off, don't panic. I’m reviewing every order and making updates as surveys roll in, often resulting in credits. Transparency is key, and I want to keep you all in the loop!

Spent the afternoon finishing up these little Fae Wishes for the Queen of Shadows book boxes. I can’t stop smiling at how they turned out. I hope they bring some magic to your day when you open them. Honestly, I’m just so excited for you to hold them in your hands. What do you think?

Halloween around here is a whole vibe! Our ‘not-quite-punk’ daughter (she’s actually gender bending Alastor from Hazbin Hotel) is belting out musical theater in the front yard. Nothing says spooky like hitting those high notes while our son is channeling his inner English Grim Reaper standing so still he could pass for a prop, just waiting to spook unsuspecting trick-or-treaters. Some might call it terrifying… but for us, it’s just a regular night!

Happy Halloween, my spooky friends! 🎃👻 Today, as the veil between worlds gets just a little thinner, I wanted to take a second to say how much I appreciate all of you. This has been just incredible, and getting to share it with you on a day like today is more than I could have ever hoped for. Whether you're lighting candles, conjuring spells, or just eating your weight in candy (no judgment), know that I'm right there with you in spirit.

Thank you for supporting me, for backing my projects, for being a part of this wonderfully weird community. I feel so lucky to do what I do, and it's all because of you amazing folks.

We're in the final hours of Queen of Shadows, and we've got something special to share... a lost tome! 📜✨

This mysterious Lore from a Lost Tome will be available as a flash reward for all new pledges, upped pledges, and current book boxes. But the campaign ends tonight at midnight when the veil between our world and the Land of Shadows is at its thinnest. Let's see if we can hit 100 backers before the clock strikes twelve! 😈
