I thought I would share a picture of Me and my husband, Randy. Tell you a little bit about us.
We have been married for 42 years. We had our first date when I was 16 years old at the Cheney Rodeo. He decided that I would pass the muster test when I helped him buck bales and load it into the barn.
I had rode horses on my Uncle Gordon’s farm since I was about three years old. Had my own horse and been involved in 4-H all of my life. But, I had never been involved on a full scale farm before.
Randy’s Mom wasn’t fully convinced that I would stay the course either. In fact, there were plenty of other local people who had there doubts.
We listen to the country song about being a “couple of kids who were scared to death,” and we lived it in living color.
In those early days Randy would come home with puppies and horses. It just seemed like we had new ones coming in all the time. We were so excited and young. Trying to take on life!
We have lived a lot of life together since then. Some days I didn’t see coming. My sweet dimpled face cowboy is still the same. He can put his hand in mine and the rest of the world is calm.
We have Farm Salvation and Johnson Homestead Medical Lake both of our businesses come from our roots of faith, agriculture, and family. We genuinely believe that as we serve our community that it strengthens the fabric of who we are. We don’t claim to be perfect. In fact, quite the opposite. As humans, we guarantee that we have and will make mistakes. We hope that we can be genuine enough to be honest and humble to apologize.
We need you. To be engaged in our businesses. Thank you if you have been a historic supporter. You are our rock stars ⭐️!! We are setting goals for increasing our foot traffic before the end of the year. Will you join us?
