Pine & Eucalyptus Scrub with Moringa Powder and Walnut Shell Powder

What the heck is Moringa powder!?!?

“Moringa powder is a nutrient-dense, vibrant green powder made from the dried leaves of the Moringa oleifera tree, often referred to as a “miracle tree” native to Africa and Asia.”

I saw it and had to try to make something with it! It’s packed with lots of skin-benefiting goodies!

We wanted to create more of a masculine scent and went with Pine & Eucalyptus. Both essential oils have a ton of skin benefits.

The walnut shell adds scrubbing power to the bar, which I’m loving on my dry winter skin!

We are extremely proud of this Whipped Sheep Tallow! So what’s the difference between sheep tallow and beef tallow?! I always encourage customers to do their own research when in doubt.

What I’ve found is: beef and sheep tallow contain palmitic, stearic, and oleic acids – fatty acids that mirror our skin's natural composition. This similarity is likely why both can be effective moisturizers. The information I’m finding is that sheep tallow has slightly less palmitic acid contributing to a difference in textures.

I find the sheep tallow is slightly lighter and I’ve been using it on my face and using the heavier beef tallow on my hands. Everyone’s skin takes to different things! If you find the beef tallow too heavy, you might enjoy the sheep tallow instead! We make both with the skin benefiting tallow, Avocado oil (a nice light, vitamin packed oil) and Rose-hip oil (known to be very reparative)
