Please help us welcome Amy Sullins of Orange Azalea Designs to the Bella Moxie family!

Amy is a Northeast Ohio artist with a love for pattern, color, and sewing—but what makes her creations especially unique is that she designs the fabric patterns herself!
Using her laptop, Amy creates her own patterns, selects the colors, and even adjusts the scale of each design before having the fabric printed. From there, she personally sews each bag and accessory, making every piece a true reflection of her creativity from beginning to end.

Growing up in Northeast Ohio in a family that encouraged creativity, Amy explored many artistic paths over the years, but sewing was always her favorite. When she couldn’t find fabrics with exactly the patterns and colors she envisioned, she decided to create her own—and Orange Azalea Designs grew from there.

We’re so excited to have Amy’s colorful, original creations at Bella Moxie! Stop in and see her collection in person.

About Laurie

Growing up in Western Pennsylvania, Laurie Musser developed a deep appreciation for nature while exploring the woods and her family farm. From changing seasons and beautiful sunsets to the abundance of wildlife around her, the outdoors became an endless source of inspiration. She began drawing and painting whenever and wherever the opportunity arose.

After high school, Laurie studied commercial and fine art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She spent 20 years designing greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, and dimensional ornaments.

Laurie creates her artwork from her own experiences and reference photography, believing that personally experiencing her subjects is an important part of the creative process. Her detailed pieces are created digitally using an iPad, stylus, and Procreate, allowing her to work in styles inspired by watercolor, acrylic, gouache, pencil, pastel, charcoal, oils, and pen and ink. Some pieces contain approximately 300,000 individual strokes, while others have taken more than 90 hours to complete.

Her finished artwork is professionally produced as museum-quality archival and giclée prints.

Through each piece, Laurie hopes to share the beauty she has experienced in God’s creation and inspire others to slow down, step outside, BE STILL, and appreciate the world around them.
