Update: we will not be reopening this summer. Construction remodeling is still ongoing and will not be completed early enough to get health permit approvals before August.

We will update when construction is complete.

It seems like forever since we closed for winter. However, we are getting closer to a grand reopening! But first, we have some exciting news! We will be relocating across the street and sharing space with Meeker Florist. Donna and I will begin an extensive remodeling and updating inside the Meeker Florist building at 609 W. Carl Hubbell Blvd. Once completed, we will move Jester's into a lovely new space! Our goal is to reopen by May 1st!

We have evaluated a number of things while off for the holidays the past two weeks. We have looked at sales trends, dates and times when sales are made, the costs, profits, etc.

Truthfully, the numbers the past two months of being opened regular hours just do not justify us remaining open this winter. It's common in the industry that small independent shops selling ice cream will close for winter months. Originally, we did not want to do that; however, numbers do not lie. So... we are officially announcing that we will not reopen today and will remain closed through at least spring break. We look forward to opening up mid to late March and resume serving excellent ice cream, hot dogs, sandwiches and the like. Hope to see you then! We appreciate each of you who have blessed us by being customers.

UPDATE:

Sorry…but we will have to close today! Looks like whatever has been going around has hit Jesters. So we will start the Christmas Break a day earlier than planned!

Don’t forget: Thursday 12/18/25 will be the last day this year to get your favorite Tillamook ice cream! We will be open from noon until 5:00 pm. After that, we will be closed until after the New Year’s holiday!

We will be open Tuesday through Thursday this week from Noon - 5:00 p.m. We will close on Friday, December 19th and reopen early January. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We had a great time hosting the Christmas Party for Spherical Self Defense tonight. Thank you to all the members who came out. It was an honor to serve each of you! We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

We are honored to host Spherical Self Defense out of Shawnee tonight at The Jester’s for their company Christmas Party. They offer great classes for kids through adults!

We will be open today from noon until 5:00 p.m. We will then host a private event at 6:00 p.m. tonight and be closed to the public. We will not be selling hot dogs or Frito chili pies today.

We will have our normal hours and normal products available tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday from noon until 7:00. Saturday we will be open from 5:00 - 8:00.

We had a great time at the Meeker Christmas Parade! Thank you all for the great turnout and support of The Jester's Candy Court & Ice Cream Parlor Saturday night. We had all our staff (minus 1 who was unavailable Saturday night) working. We were honored that Santa Claus and Mrs. Clause used our store front as their location to meet with town children and families after the parade. We felt it was only proper that we all got a photo with them! Hopefully none of us get coal in our stockings this year!
