Grounding in Clay: A Mindful Planter Workshop
July 25, 2026 | 12:00–2:30 PM

Nourish your creative spirit through the grounding practice of working with clay.

This hands-on workshop invites you to slow down, reconnect, and learn the fundamentals of ceramics in a calm, nature-filled setting.

We’ll explore basic techniques including clay preparation, slip and score, building form, texture, and underglaze painting—working from a wheel-thrown base provided for you.

Your ticket also includes admission to the gardens, so you’re welcome to wander, explore, and stay present in the landscape before or after class.

my favorite part of the day — the moment I finally unplug, slow down, and let everything soften after a long one. My botanical salt soaks were created for exactly this kind of reset: warm water, deep breaths, and a little intentional stillness.
