Some people may not know this but Emily, my daughter, is the reason why I’m the new owner of Downtown Divas. But that’s another story. I want this post to be about Emily. She has worked here all summer and along the way, this boutique became part of our story. When I made the decision to become the new owner, Emily was right beside me through the entire transition—helping me, encouraging me, working long days with me, and being there for whatever I needed. Now it’s time for her next adventure as she heads off to college. 🥹🎓
Emily, I don’t know if you’ll ever truly understand how much your help and support have meant to me during these first weeks of owning Downtown Divas. I am going to miss seeing you here more than I can say. The store simply won’t feel the same without you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a huge part of this new chapter with me. I am so proud of you, so excited for everything ahead, and so incredibly lucky to be your mom.
